How did PetMatrx get started?

Will: The idea for PetMatrx came from personal experience. A few years ago, one of my dogs began struggling with mobility issues. I started researching supplements that could help, but I wasn’t impressed with what I found on the market. Most were either filled with filler ingredients or based on outdated science. 

That’s when I realized there was a real need for a more advanced approach to pet wellness. Something that used modern cellular science and clean, bioavailable ingredients. That became the foundation for PetMatrx.

What makes PetMatrx different from other dog supplement brands?

Will: A few key things. First, we use ingredients that are proven to work at the cellular level. We're not just throwing together vitamins and hoping for the best. We work with veterinarians, biochemists, and functional medicine experts to make sure every product supports how a dog’s body actually heals and recovers.

Second, we’re completely transparent about what’s in our products. Every compound serves a purpose. There’s no fluff, no proprietary blends hiding behind vague labels. Pet parents deserve to know exactly what they’re giving their dog.

Why focus so much on cellular health?

Will: Because that’s where true healing begins. Most people think of supplements as band-aids for specific problems like joint pain, itchy skin, anxiety. We focus on education through blogs, videos, and one-on-one conversations with our customer support team. And we’re always available to answer questions. That personal touch goes a long way.

What’s been the most rewarding part of leading PetMatrx?

Will: Hearing the stories. Every week, we get messages from people who’ve seen meaningful changes in their dogs like more energy, less limping, fewer digestive problems. Some of them were told their dog wouldn’t get better, and now they’re back to chasing balls and going on hikes. That’s what keeps us going.

Of course, we’re a business and we have goals. But those stories remind us that what we’re building really matters.

Where do you see the future of PetMatrx heading?

Will: We’re focused on expanding our product line in smart, intentional ways. There are a few formulas in development right now, including one targeting muscle recovery and another focused on immune resilience in older dogs.

We’re also investing in clinical testing to further validate our approach. Transparency is key, and we want to show that what we’re doing works not just in theory, but in practice.

Beyond products, we’re building a community of dog lovers who care about long-term wellness. That includes vets, trainers, rescue groups, and everyday pet parents. When you create something meaningful, people want to be part of it.
